The Cottage


Nestling below the village’s ancient church, this 18th Century cottage has recently been painstakingly restored. 

Once a local farm labourer’s home it now offers the perfect escape for romantic country breaks or a luxurious base for an active weekend enjoying local activities.


The Bedroom

The bedroom, with its exposed wooden roof beams and soothing colour scheme, will keep you warm and relaxed in a king size bed made for comfort.

The Bathroom



The comfortable bathroom comprises a hand basin, toilet and bath with shower attachment. 

Luxuriate in Molten Brown bubbles and then wrap yourself in soft fluffy towels after a day exploring Exmoor.





The Kitchen





The rustic chic kitchen, with wooden units and smart Kitchen Aid kit is equipped with everything you could need to prepare that special meal.

The Sitting Room

The snug sitting room complete with wood burner, ‘hessian’ covered sofa and leather armchair is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the heather-clad moorlands.

The Private Garden

Outside for your private use there is a lovingly tended cottage garden with chairs and table to catch the setting sun. At the front door of the cottage is a small herb garden, with roses and bench facing south.

How to get here

By Car:

  • M5 exit J27 onto A361 towards Tiverton at the roundabout take the 3rd exit on the Exe Valley Road A396.

  • Stay on A396 until Exbridge, take left at the Toll House towards Brushford / Dulverton B3222.

  • Stay on this road until the Brushford village sign, turn left at signpost for 13th century church.

  • At the crossroads turn left towards the church. No 10 is the first stone cottage after and below the church on the right hand side. Park opposite the cottage by the No 10 Parking sign.

By Train:

Regular services leave London Paddington for Tiverton Parkway.

By Air:

The nearest international airports are Exeter (a 45 minute drive away) and Bristol (1hr 30 mins).
